There was an article a few months ago where someone found out the names of the CEO of the companies he wanted to work for and bought Google sponsored links using their names as the key search word. Cost him nothing, but figured the CEO's would Google themselves, which they did, and when they did his website with his CV came up top of the search engine. Pretty clever.
