| quantum773 | 07-31-2013 09:31 AM | Account Suspended this morning So... my account just got suspended this morning with the message below. It seems like the account failed the review before going into review in the first place. I never received any notifications that my account went into review at all. Currently, my sales is at 1k and the account is 3 weeks old. I still have an option to appeal. Has anyone experienced this automated failed review? Hello from Amazon.
This is an auto-generated message to let you know we have removed your selling privileges, canceled your listings, and placed a temporary hold on any funds in your seller account. Any new selling accounts you open will be closed.
We took this action because your seller account has failed our review process.
Per the terms of the selling agreement you entered into with Amazon Services, we reserve the right to limit or remove selling privileges as we deem appropriate.
We encourage you to take appropriate steps to resolve any pending orders. Note that any amounts paid as a result of A-to-z Guarantee claims and chargebacks may be deducted from your Marketplace Payments account.
After 90 days, the hold will be removed and any remaining funds will be available per your settlement schedule. In addition, balance and settlement information will be available in the Payments section of your seller account. If you have questions about these funds, please write to payments-funds@amazon.com.
If you would like to appeal this decision, please visit the Notifications page in the Performance section of your account, find this message in the list of notifications, and click the Appeal button (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/...e/summary.html). In your appeal, be sure to include all applicable information listed under the “How to expedite an account review” section of our “Velocity Limits and Account Reviews” page in seller Help.
Regards,
Merchant Approval Team

The account could still be retrievable with a very well though out appeal but dont get your hopes up to much.
Slow an steady wins the race with Amazon along with plenty of extra stealth accounts! Amazon are notorious for giving no quarter. |
| cardfelon | 07-31-2013 01:03 PM | Selling $1000 in the first 3 weeks is way too much. And if you had any high risk items then there is no way you would get the account back. |
| bboard | 07-31-2013 01:39 PM | Like others have said, sorry for your loss, but doing 1k in sales right out the gate was a bit much ... you probably should have kept it a little lower until you had built up some positive feedback
Amazon is really touchy about new sellers, selling a lot right away. |

| quantum773 | 07-31-2013 01:56 PM | Its tough because I sell cellphones. 1k in sales = 4 phones sold. I have my fingers crossed for the appeal. |
| Gamefreak | 07-31-2013 02:30 PM | you cannot start out with such high risk items especially since feedback is tough to get on amazon as it is.
Cellphones are high risk high fraud items |
| quantum773 | 08-01-2013 01:00 PM | How would I know if I got linked? Will amazon tell me that they found the account to be linked to a suspended account? From the message above, it doesn't seem like I was suspended due to linkage, but what do I know |
| n8zzz | 08-01-2013 02:22 PM | I don't think it was a link either. It seems that links either happen almost immediately or pretty slowly. When they place a hold on your funds right before a disbursement, it's usually due to your selling activities. |
| user3657 | 08-01-2013 03:11 PM | If it was linked, it would be deleted. |
| Rippedoffagain | 08-02-2013 02:55 AM | lost 3 amazon accounts one was 3 weeks old to be paid this week two others were 2 weeks old. one that was supposed to get paid said related to another account. HMM??
sure.. If that was the case the system would have picked it up upon registering. The other two just could not log in. nice amazon.Hope I get paid for the items I sold.. |
| n8zzz | 08-02-2013 04:50 AM | I honestly don't know why people on here are getting suspended with all the info they have available. I consider myself a stealth noob.. okay well intermediate maybe.. and still haven't had any of my now four "gold" account suspended due to linking. I feel like a lot of guys are cutting corners here, looking for the quickest and cheapest way to get going. Quality over speed and quantity. Be paranoid enough on every level and you should be fine. |

@OP, try the appeal but chances remain low. Good luck though |

Your selling plan contributed to this.
too much too soon = nervous amazon.
Work out the better approach

| quantum773 | 08-05-2013 08:42 AM | just got my account reinstated this morning. yesssssss! |
| studio | 08-05-2013 01:19 PM | Nice, pleased to hear it. Just be careful how much info you give out in public though. You have given quite a lot of info in this thread that could point to your account (what you sell, date of suspension, date of reinstatement etc). You can never be too paranoid. |

| quantum773 | 08-06-2013 09:18 AM | Yes I did appeal. I explained that I had an established business on ebay that averages x sales per month and my current seller rating and feedback is excellent. I added some details like how I purchased and managed my inventory, but did not disclose any of my suppliers/wholesalers. And at the end of the appeal, I sweetened it by adding that I wanted to expand to amazon because amazon super awesome and I wanted to provide the best possible customer service blah blah blah. Not exactly like that, but you get the jist.
MAKE SURE YOUR METRICS ARE PRESTINE AND SHIPMENTS ARE DELIVERED CONFIRMED BEFORE YOU HIT THAT APPEAL BUTTON. |
Nice quantum773...just to clarify, you provided your exact eBay id and feedback with the appeal? |
| quantum773 | 08-06-2013 09:44 AM | No, I did not provide my ebay ID, but I did mention that if they'd required any documents/invoices, I'd be willing to provide them. I really don't think they need all the details for velocity limits, but it wouldn't hurt to toss that statement in. |
| ploughman | 08-07-2013 07:32 PM | Well, six years without even a warning on anything, and now 3 in the last 2 days. One was a totally vague one about listing against non-matching detail pages. It didn't cite any examples (I have 400 detail pages) or say what they objected to.
The others were related to negative feedback from ONE person who had bought two items by mistake and was upset I didn't refund him even though both the products had separately shipped (I offered to take the return, and he could even refuse delivery if he wanted). The guy would rather leave the two 1s and be a belligerent outlier when the rest of the feedback record is excellent. It's the old problem of low participation and having to average that guy out.
I read the notices and am again showing account health good, though I don't know if that means anything. Have been top-seller-awarded the last 2 straight holiday seasons and normally run around 98-99% feedback (last year 99%, lifetime 98%).
So I guess that stuff even happens to longtime sellers. |

| That is just craziness. I am appalled that Amazon would suspend your account for this. I see other sellers at 80% with buyer feedbacks accusing them of everything short of killing their dog, and Amazon doesn't give a single eff. Just wow. |
