non subscription fee!!!

Has anybody any idea what this is, sent the question to amazon and waiting, They have taken nearly $2000 in my latest disbursement. That all the description says in 'others' on payment reports.

So, this is a normal Amazon account, everything is going smoothly and all of a sudden there is a $2,000 deduction from your disbursement? That sounds VERY strange!

Dmshark25 07-31-2013 09:48 PM

That is strange , I have an individual account and all fees are taken after the sale not from the disbursements

user3657 08-01-2013 12:56 AM

Let us know when they get back to you :humble:

derp1234 08-01-2013 01:23 AM

FBA fulfilled items? That would be nearly 6,600 units with a $.30 fee

MICKY H 08-01-2013 05:23 AM

Yes this is an FBA account, but this charge has never been made before. Still waiting on amazon to reply.

GreenBean 08-01-2013 06:12 AM

I would expect 1999 reasons for a slow response.

Nothing obvious to you, MICKY H?

Hope they give a suitable response.

:peace:

The disbursement has been made, but this amount deducted and shows in 'others'. Checked all other disbursements and no deductions under this heading. Very strange unless its a new FBA fee. Wait and see and I will post.

MICKY H 08-02-2013 06:20 PM

yes its $0.30 fee per item for FBA stock being shipped to one FBA centre

Will be others surprised then when they see similar.

Doesnt FBA charge for FBA based on weight, size, and a number of those factors to determine exactly how much you would pay per item for FBA.

At least thats what mine shows.

weight
pick and pack
size
then there is a flat rate fba fee of a few dollars if im not mistaken

MICKY H 08-02-2013 09:30 PM

Thats correct gamefreak, but if you choose to send all the inventory to one FBA centre instead of several shipments to several FBA centres that amazon choose you will be charged an extra 30c per unit.

Gamefreak 08-02-2013 09:45 PM

Im never given the option to send to multiple centers as all my stuff is case packed and im NOT about to open a case for anyone/company.

GreenBean 08-02-2013 09:49 PM

Think it more of an issue for a seller to be subjected to such a fee without warning.....

Do I gather amazon started this without notice?

Not doing FBA at the moment. Was considering the experiment but.....

:surrender:

GB I understand this is a new charge introduced in June. This is the first deduction I have had.
