Can sellers modify AMAZON shipping notification emails ?
 

Recenly USPS is recycling thier trackig numbers, many orders I shipped out these days bear the old delivered tracking info from last year.

I've been questioned by buyers and some even file claims, disputes on the transactions because of this.

Is there anyway to enhance or modify the shipping notice message AMAZON sent to buyers once tracking number been input ?

I doubt that Amazon would allow sellers to change email notifications. However, if memory serves, isn't there a box to enter a note to the buyer?

I would consider contact with amazon to see if they too have had other reports.
Get it on file you are having issues and want to protect your buyer AND protect yourself.

Be careful of making any type of amendment in case amazon disallows this.

Incredible in this day and age to think tracking numbers get recycled.
