Changed everything still got related

Hello, I created an new account, changed everything, new user, new ip address, new name, new gift card, new number.

everything was changed and they still suspended my account for related account ?

I don;t understand how is that possible ? is it because of the inventory ? should I change the inventory ?

would really appreciate any help as I am really frustrated right now. Thank you in advance.

Same inventory is a big no.

Certainly will be one factor in why you were linked.

You must read the forums and the book. You cannot list the same inventory especially if your using the same sku. You have to mix between 1 old title and 5 new. The new you can make up, overprice so you will not sell them. example, list a cd for $35 when it sells for $10 on marketplace.

Try to keep a ratio of 1:10 on what you used to sell to what you sell now.

I have a month old account that's working with 1:3 ratio. No linkage yet.

I know 1:5 is safe, but sure maybe 1:3 is okay too. Been said that is has to do with opening an account in a different city than the suspended one with all the old inventory.

If it is not the inventory then you are linking in some other way.

Are you using different pictures? Cleaning the pictures with batchpurifier or other software?

Are you using different backgrounds, descriptions, prices etc? Are you using stock photos?

Amazon can be a pita sometimes I know but there has to be something you are doing to get this to happen.

They can link from the products and file you use to upload your inventory if your using one of their templates.

Yeah, I know that might not be said very often on this forum -probably due to the fact that it is so common sense that no one should ever really have to ask- but to put it in plain english, don't ever import any file on a new account that you exported from an old account. "but what if I do it using ..." No! Bad! Go sit in the corner! =P

quantum773 08-09-2013 09:42 AM

haha yea.. well I tested this out with my first account and it got shut down immediately. I attempted to list 1:1 ratio and about an hour after, it got shut down. This was without using the template.

So far, the 1:3 ratio is working for me. trial and error baby.

Amazon will ban for similar activity - I mean if you're listing the same items, fairly obvious - and they will ban if you jump into a category where bannings are going on...when I say this, I mean that Az does shut down a lot of new accounts if one listing is pretty high chance for counterfeit and then they will block new sellers who try to list RIGHT AWAY in that category

Can you list different inventory from the same supplier? Or will that get you linked too?

If you mirror your old inventory, then a pattern can be seen.

Have you cleaned off your pictures from old listing to new listings?

This can link you.

How is anyone going to know who your supplier is?

MICKYMICK 08-16-2013 08:38 AM

Because they've always asked me where I get my inventory from.

I hope you're being sarcastic.. in which case, that may not have translated well for everyone.

That's standard question they ask if you are want to accelerate the review of an account...

Oh right, but they're just being very general about it. I mean you can just say, target, bestbuy, some wholesale websites you just looked up, etc. They don't care to verify that the merchandise matches the supplier. They probably DON'T want to hear that you're getting everything off CL or China, however.
