How are Amazon 2013 back to school sales going (for those who see a surge)?

August is usually my third best month, after November and December. Am down quite a bit this year vs. 2012...not sure how much is new competition or how much might be site-related (e.g. fewer eyeballs because people are on Facebook, or whatever).

How are others doing compared to 2012? Still seeing the same traffic? I'm trying to decide where to invest some more listing-creation time.

Its going pretty good for me...I am seeing record highs every other day it feels like. I passed a high velocity limit "hidden" review a few days or week or so ago...and now just got hit with another one this morning with dozens of orders now pending. Getting sort of antsy...

Probably depends highly on the listing and category - what's hot last year could not be expected to be hot this year...

I check mid month. Some listing have just been there a few days. Not going to worry too much so long as the account is still " there"
