Failure To Disburse Funds

Hi Guys,

I received this message from Amazon today. Basically the email says the funds were returned to Amazon and they have removed the bank account information from my Account.

This is the first disbursement I was due to receive from this Amazon account. I guess I could of made a mistake inputting the Sort Code or Account Number. I have funds go into this bank account from paypal so I'm ruling out it being a mis match name problem.

It was only for a small amount of funds.

Do you think it's worth re-adding this bank account obviously making sure it's correct or trying a completely different account.

Thanks

If you sure that this bank can do a mismatch name then try again. That is what I do

Freakzilla 08-10-2013 08:43 AM

Cheers, They definitely can as I have paypal deposits of the same name going into that Account.

just tried Lloyds and they do mismatched names

All UK banks will do mismatched names when funds are sent via BACS, this is the way amazon pay. As the UK banking system only works on sort code and account number. TT or wire transfers are different, but amazon never pay this way.

did you add the wrong info first time. or are you 100% sure it was correct info first time?

also was it an online saver account?

I can't be 100% sure, I could of made a mistake.

It won't matter what type of account it is. The file is sent via bacs, so any account would be ok.

What problem do you have?

As in the UK, Does Az also use the same BACS system to make payments to accounts in other EU countries so mismatched names are not an issue ?
