7-day rolling reserve
 

Hello everyone.. I need some help on this topic..

So today I sold a couple units on Amazon for a total of around $600.. I processed and shipped the items, only to find out my account is under review and has a 7-day rolling reserve placed against it..

That's fine and all, but here's where it gets fishy...

It says my rolling reserve amount is equal to the total gross amount for the preceding 7 days.. Well I sold these items on the 12th day of the account being open.. That would mean my reserve amount for the last 7-days is $0...

Why is my reserve amount equal to the units sold today?

The rolling reserve is the last 7 days from today, so in 7 days from the day you sold the items the funds will be available

The reserve will be equivalent to your gross sales amount for the preceding 7 days. Based on your order volume, the amount of the reserve may change daily.

When your account balance exceeds the reserve amount, funds will be available per your disbursement schedule.

Well.. I made $0 the first 7 days of opening my amazon account, and in the last 7 days (14th day is withdrawal) I have made $600..

So shouldn't I have money to withdraw?

The preceding 7 days, as in the 7 days before today.

Did you sell the goods less than 7 days ago?

if so they will be part of the reserve until 8 days after they sold.

amazon are even worse than ebay you have to be very careful on there not to upset them

But how would this be fair considering I'm on a 2-week payment schedule? The account is a pro merchant account.

Not quite relevant to a thread that is about disbursement but nothing the OP has done so far should be considered as ""upsetting"
