Does Amazon Ghost work in Automotive Categories?

The method works to set up the account - what you sell and how you sell are independent of the setup process.

Is there something special you worry about?

Stealth is not a category set thing....Stealth is the application of setting up the accounts. Once you setup your Stealth account(s) it's up to you to follow the rules of Amazon.

If you were banned for any specific reason and you setup a stealth account it doesn't mean you are now some how invisible!

Also, if you are having problems in specific categories without proper solution...perhaps that category is not for you ....

I am just asking for the sake that my account was suspended in the automotive category, and I remember when I set it up they asked for more information like DBA and what not. So I am wondering if anyone has done it with success, and what they did. It has been since 2010 since I setup my account so I dont remember all what they asked for

My account was suspended for slow shipments... I know .. I know.. I'm on the ball now I got extra help for shipping. Anyways, if they ask for an identification, how would you do it with a stealth account? I bought the ebay Stealth Book and it worked fine for my use, just wanted to know if anyone has sold on amazon with a stealth account in the automotive categories

Well if you don't get an answer from the forum then you might want to test stealth in the automotive category yourself and see what happens.

I eventually will... I just wanted some feedback from the forum before I buy something that ultimately may not be of use for me....

I hear ya but unfortunately sometimes we have to be big boys/girls and test things out for ourselves...can't always depend on others for an answer, hopefully someone provides an answer. If not, you know what to do.
