Stop using the term banned/block for Amazon
 
I have read lot of thread about account being banned/blocked from Amazon. If you could please use deleted/suspended.

- Deleted: You are no longer able to log-in to your seller account even if you just change/reset your password. And you never got anything from Amazon when this happen.

- Suspended: You received an email from Amazon about your account being suspended and they will hold your fund for 90 days. When suspended, you are still able to log-in to your account and buy from Amazon, but can't sell anything.

When you say your account is deleted or suspended you will get the answer/advice faster and not waste everyone's time asking suspended or deleted when you using banned/blocked.

Very well put Tony.

I had a hard time as a newbie in the forums understanding the difference between the 4 terms, and become more confused to start, when the terms are used incorrectly.

I vote we put together a huge list of terminologies and have it stickied.

deleted...
suspended...
mac address...
dongle...
appeal...

etc.

That is the point Tony is making, they do not all mean the same thing.

Deleted is different from suspended.

You cannot sell with either, but deleted is worse than suspended.

Leaving out NOT blew your response.

Amazon has different definitions as to account status.

To respond correctly the actual status of the account should be known.

There are differences that make this essential.

Good point - need to make clear that deletion is much worse with no access to account and no funds available.

Then make an effort to prove otherwise.

Try to ensure the correct terms get used.

Not rocket science.

There's enough urban myths that float around on the amazon forum because of half baked thoughts.

Work on accuracy for a change.

Ive been working on ways to find myself out of account deletions.One of the guys on here told me it is possible to receive funds after a deletion .The reason some people dont get their funds after 90 days is because of a A-z claim during their suspension.Evidently if you receive any a-z on a account deletion during the 90 days it restarts your 90 days over.Example if your 40 days into your deletion and a customer decides to a-z you ,them 40 days start back at day 1.I havent confirmed this,only info I received from a member on this forum .

That might be true, but at least when someone asks a question that has already been answered 100 times, they can simply be directed to that stickied thread.
