My amazon experience.


I can only put my experience in laymans terms as I am one lol.

I bought a sony control ps3 from amazon recently it was a fulfilled by amazon so they sent it from their warehouse & when I got it it was 100% counterfeit.

I had to laugh it also shocked me that they store phakes themselves so I was thinking hey I would open a case and get it for free maybe but nope the option was not there only a free return label and refund option but no way to open an A TO Z claim.
but they can with normal sellers for ages. I also have recently had a claim after 45 days on amazon against me and lost straight away. They are so strict.
Someone opens a case and get goods for free and never get the option to return the item back to me in the claim.

I was hacked off to find that out about FBA shipments....

Second one I ever purchased had a phake item.

Miserable gits only doing a refund.

Buddy, in your orders section/help/contact write a complaint to amazon and say the goods are counterfeit. You will get refunded by return, I promise...

shame they don't do it for us.... Hacked off is polite way of saying it. they quickly refunded me though lol

Yeah micky I did that they was quick to refund but I wanted to keep goods, as many buyers do to me lol, I thought sod em for once I wont be mr nice guy... but no chance of a freebie from a FBA

I have never returned anything and got the refund on FBA sellers. However low price goods DVD etc. But they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗...

Why this happens.

Seller 'A' sends items to east coast FBA, seller 'B' sends crap items to west coast FBA.

You buy from seller 'A' but live in California.

AZ FBA ships from west coast ('B' seller crap item) because it is cheaper to send and arrives quicker.

FBA assumes both sellers have the same legit items because they are under the same ASIN. Instead, the system makes it 'look' like seller 'A' sells crap.

This is the biggest FBA problem out there, and it is almost impossible to correct.

The problem is that Amazon's warehouses hold hundreds of thousands of different items. They employ many workers at the $8 - $10 per hour wage level. At that level, these people are NOT going to be experts in detecting counterfeits.

Ad Phd pointed out, Amazon also has many warehouses across the country. This enables them to offer the 2 day shipping. If there are multiple FBA sellers of one item, you might buy from SELLER A, but the warehouse shipping to you only has stock received from SELLER B. Since it is the same item, Amazon goes ahead and ships SELLER B's item to you.

You receive the item and it turns out to be counterfeit. It may not be SELLER A's fault. Their items may be totally legitimate. Of course, Amazon is not going to tell you that the item they sent to you came from the inventory of SELLER B.

Still, their internal records should show them which seller's inventory was shipped. So, complaining to Amazon MAY actually help to get SELLER B removed. However, there is also a chance that inventory from both SELLER A and SELLER B are at the same warehouse and are mixed. Amazon says they have been working to fix this sort of thing, but it still happens.

For the buyer, the best course of action is, in my opinion, to return the item. I would include any packaging the item came with since it MAY help Amazon to determine which seller the inventory originated from.

It surprises me that Amazon has not received more flack for this sort of thing, either from a lawsuit filed by a rights owner or by law enforcement. People trust Amazon, and if 10,000 counterfeit ANYTHING makes it into their system and they distribute it, that is NOT a small matter.

I have bought items from Amazon directly that were phakes. (Not FBA) The reason is when they are all commingled items they will just grab them from the pile.

well the worlds full of phakes these days u don't know what is and what isn't until you study item carefully or look for help like utube tutorials etc... but they get away with it and I could sell 10000 genuine ps3 controls and still get suspended for selling counterfeits on eb or amazon

FBA sellers get suspended the same way... no difference...

worst if you get deleted you lose your inventory as well !

Easy fix, if you send your items to amazon do NOT do stickerless inventory. thats how your items get confuse with the junk that others ship to amazon.

Do not do co-mingled inventory, its an opt out so thats what you need to do. Print off your own labels and stick them on. Problem solved.

Stickeless means you don't label each product of yours with a bad code which identity it as specifically your product, when your inventory reaches amazon warehouse it gets mixed with other sellers inventory of same product.

100% we use FBA labelled items and not commingled inventory.

I know my goods are both legit and in good condition, I'll be damned if I will have them send out someone elses crappy product on my sale.
