Does Amazon link your buyer account to seller account?
 

Bought the ebook and am thinking about start selling on Amazon again.

Was banned before and have moved since and never sold on Amazon at the new location. I feel that I have met all conditions. I have a new computer with new router and different ISP. I can use my SO's name and info to sell.

The only question I have is......does amazon link your buyer account to a merchant account? I have not sold since I moved and have all the things I mentioned above. However, I still purchase from Amazon from the old computer that I used to sell on amazon (so mac address and such might are still the same).

So does anyone know if Amazon logs the buyer accounts, and then match it to my soon to create seller account? Because if they log buyer accounts, then they can match my old pc's mac address and link my new address, and then the new created account will get linked from the address?

Any light on this would be appreciated!

amazon has the ability to check all info of accounts.

Thanks. I guess to be safe, I should get another internet connection and router so everything is completely new.

Read the book, but looking at what you are saying then can link you. Why not just open a new account on your new pc for and use it for buying and selling. Less problems. If you have dynamic IP just reboot the router to change the IP. Don't worry about MAC addresses.

Accounts are accounts, buying or otherwise. If there are ways to link any 2 accounts then it needs to be thought out beforehand.

If your buyer account gets suspended/deleted, your seller account will get suspended/deleted. This is 100% confirmed.
