Buyer accounts associated with seller account. Any benefit?
 

Is there any benefit to have an active amazon buyer account associated with an active amazon ghost account?

I do quite a lot of personal and business purchasing on amazon and I am curious if there is any benefit to start purchasing items using my ghost account id?

Any experience on this? I see some have talked about if they are linked, but is there any actual benefit to have a good active buying account associated with your selling account?

Personally I like to keep buying and selling SEPARATE. Benefit for both together would be feedback and activity associated, as an example.

But my issue if the seller account goes down, the buyer account CAN have problems.

I had a seller account go down about 5 months ago and it has not impacted my daily buying account.

I guess mainly the benefit would be if an actual human was reviewing the amazon seller account and had a tool to check if it was associated with an active buying account....

Personally, I had a seller account got blocked in Dec. 2012 and I wanted to buy some Xmas gifts - I had a buyer account and I could NOT use the cc on the account - caused problems.
