Closed all my Amazon seller accounts. Can I open another one safely
 

I had been suspended on both of my Amazon seller accounts so I phoned up to close both of my suspended accounts today. I have been told that all of the previous info, eg. name, address, bank history etc had been deleted by Amazon and would be inaccessible by them and I can open another Amazon account.

Now this seems a little too easy and too good to be true. What's the catch? If I open another account using my same details then will be suspend that new account?

Read the book, follow it and you will be OK. All you old details are held by amazon unfortunately and you will be linked.

This is what Amazon have told me:

'After your account is closed, it's no longer accessible by you or anyone else. This includes related accounts, features and services associated to your e-mail address'.

Is this a lie from Amazon or have I read it wrong?

Just put you in their shoes what would you do. Deleted that person information or keep it there and waiting that guy signup again and kick him out gain.

They are not lie but Amazon is not in the list of "anyone else" :)

How old are the accounts?

I agree with the others that it is more than likely amazon will link any accounts but due to a recent mistake by me I'm starting to think accounts of a certain age might be deleted completely.

Dude, why do you think everyone goes stealth/ghost. Try opening a new account with your old details and let us know what happens.

One account is 2-3 years old and the other account is just over 1 year old.

Forget all these old suspended accounts with old info that could cause problems if re-used.

Get the Ghost guide - understand how the system links you - make new unlinked accounts.

Read posts here and post questions as you go set-up the new account(s)

does mobile broadband always give you a new ip when reconnecting each time. Like verizon or virgin mobile> Can they be used for stealth
