USA Seller with Canada bank account
 

I need more options for bank accounts and was wondering if it is possible to open a Canadian bank account online and if it would be red flag to have a USA seller account but a Canadian Bank? Are Canada banks about the same when it comes to mismatched names?

i think you can only use canadian bank accounts for amazon.ca but not the us seller accounts .in the list of countries for bank accounts you wont see canada

As a US seller, you can have a seller account on dot ca, and still use your US bank account.

They started this around Feb 2013.

But, you cannot have a Canadian bank acct for a US seller account.

yes thats possible but still cant use .com seller account with a canadian bank account

Is signing up for a dot.ca account as easy as US account?

If I have a dot.ca account can I have a Canadian bank account living in the US and telling Amazon I live in US?

yes same procedure and same issues as .com
you can use .ca with a us bank account but a canadian one can also be made.I think the simplest should be td or rbc since they can offer you their cross border banking here in canada.can also open BMO.
all 3 i think can also be made over phone
