Return address for FBA
 

Has anyone shipped from a different state with FBA? In other words, giving Amazon a bogus return address in another state, but shipping your FBA items from your real location. I'm talking about using thier partnered carrier UPS. Do you think they check the tracking number to see where the package is departing from?

UPS may actual bounce the shipment.

The cost of shipment is calculated from posted start to finish. On a manual review, AZ will see this.

For the cost, grab a PO box close to the shipping address (UPS is good).

At least IF something happens, your package is returned to you.

use a UPS box or something else like that, its not expensive. There is a reason amazon wants your actual location as it doesn't want all of the same items in one warehouse. If x warehouse is fill with that item then they want to send it to y warehouse

ups does NOT deliver to PO BOX

If you want your stuff to be returned to a PO BOX amazon will ship it fedex or USPS

It defeats the purpose of being stealth and trying to look like you are in a different state. I know there are many people that say they are in a different state and seller fulfill items. Amazon could just as easily look at those tracking numbers and see that the packages are departing from another location. I think it would only be an issue if your account went under manual review and they were trying to speculate whether you were selling the same item from a recently suspended/deleted account.

Have used a UPS box. They let you address it as a unit #, not a box number.

As far as addresses, there are suppliers that will ship directly to AZ for you. (you supply all labels).
This means the ship from address is different that any you have registered with AZ. Had no problems with this in the past.

If ever questioned, you could be shipping directly from your warehouse, not from your offices.
