Easy solution is to call your bank and ask of they will allow the funds to be deposited. My bank told me ach incoming is automatic and they funds have been deposited even though the account name does not match up. If you are outside the us than it may be different since ach won't be used

Bank: Don't worry, ACH payments pass through the automatic clearing house and funds are deposited directly into your account with no human interaction. You will receive the funds without any issue.

And I still don't think you should be asking the bank because all it takes 1 nosy rep to start asking the "Why?" questions and that leads to bigger problems.
Most banks accept deposits with mismatched names. The problem is when your bank account goes under a manual review/ Use a company name as the mismatched name so you can show them you were using it for business account. The worst they can do is tell you to open a business account

I did not think it would be a problem since I have used this local bank for years for personal and business.
I was also told the ONLY time an incoming ACH would ever receive a manual review is if the account was being monitored for suspicious activity OR if the account number was not a direct match, but the routing number was.
The banks don't give out your SS# to random businesses. Only the Govt can get that info. You will run into issues if the bank rejects the deposit due to mismatched names though.
