running out of addresses for account, best option?
 

I use UPS store addresses or PO Box (street addressing) for creating new amazon account. I like to use real address (for return purposes) that's why I don't want to use any random address.

I have used all UPS stores / USPS around my area...now the closest I have left are 100+ miles from where I am...

Is it possible to reuse old addresses with some variation?

some thing this like:
123 main St
to
123 Main Street

please suggest?

I agree with Tony. Are there any "mom & pop" stores that provide mailbox services in your area? UPS Stores are NOT usually the only game in town. Many times, storage facilities offer this service also. You might want to contact a few and ask if they offer this service. If they say no, ask them if they know of any that do.

Another workaround would be to use an address you do NOT have access to, and if you have any return requests, offer to send a prepaid label to the buyer. Then, just mail the label to them with an actual address on it. That way, Amazon won't see it. Buyers are not likely to report this as they have not been trained (yet) to look for it.

Do you have pakmail near you? If so, they give you a physical address not a po box.

pakmail is 114 miles from me :(

I got 8 address which I was hoping to reuse if possible..

Talk to your UPS store employees to see if you can vary the address and still get your packages. Also, can't you just get a different PO Box number?

Does this mean that it's impossible for anyone to use any of those UPS stores around your area again because the addresses have all been burnt ?

I ask this because the only variation in address at a previously used PO box address would be the box (Suite) number. Zip code and street remain the same.

I'm now concerned that the address at the facility I was intending on using for returns may already be burnt :eek:

the street address of eg. UPS is not burnt by prior owner, the box number differentiates you, like a door number would from your neighbour and the business name is different from prior owner anyway.

To re-use an address, skip the box number and just use your business name (new one if necessary) packages will often get assigned to the box via the business name by the store employee.

And for a new acct I used:

They wouldn't see thru this ???

Maybe upon a manual review but if u operate correctly you won't drawl that kind of attention to the account

It's not the best solution , once u make money on ur accounts u should have separate addresses but that is not always affordable when starting up

this would not work with amz US cause they have LINE 1 for street which gets checked for address verification while creating new account right? ...

so its safe to get a different PO at the same post office I used before ? does any body else here have more then 2-3 POs at same post office?

I remember few weeks back you had issue with one of your account being deleted, was it related to linking of address ?

I thought it was inevitable that every acct went into review at some point - Aren't all reviews manual reviews ? Is there a difference ?

Isn't this the same as using your banned home address but just with a different company name ??

I'm pretty sure it's the same in the UK. Are you referring to a returns address which is different to the registered home address ?

Yes it would be interesting to hear if anyone has managed to use a different PO box at the same post office with any longevity.

How long have these accounts been running ?

How many "manual" reviews have they had ?

What format did you use for the address ? Different company name but everything else the same ?

I got an account deleted???? You must be wrong or mix up somebody else

I use USPS box and the address have to different ZIP code. I play around with the address

- These account more than a year old
- Some got manual review, and some normal review. Two of them was suspended, appealled and reinstated.
- The PO BOX have two ZIP code attach to it and the street address can be North/South or leave it blank (I know it is weird but they told me that when I open those boxes)

I use
1234 North Main Street STE 800
City, State 00035 (this ZIP code for the actual address)

and

1234 Main Street South Unit 800
City, State 00091 (This zip code just for PO BOX)

Lucky me, these box can also received FedEx/UPS shipping also. I have no problem with FedEx but small problem with UPS system cause they are not recognized the PO BOX ZIP code so they need to fix the shipping label them self. But I no problem to receive shipping from them.

Also, it is dirt cheap when compare to Mom/Pop store. I pay only $32/year for the smallest box

firstly do not mention my name and s club 7 in the same post....

if you missed out the box number? then they are not the same address. eg
the building is called 1 banned way.

on a high street you get a building and it has different plaques outside for the different businesses...same thing.

they now it is a box address building anyway, if they look it up.

They told me that. I been using this P.O BOX for more than 10 years now

Anyone using P.O BOX from USPS please confirm if they have a specific ZIP for P.O BOX

They explain to me that when they see the PO ZIP code they know where the mail go. That is why if I use PO BOX number I don't need to put the street address. Just

P.O 800
City, State 00091 (PO BOX ZIP)

Wouldn't it be better to use and change the PO box number to Suite or Appt as it adds more of a variation ?

Yes one post office told me that their PO zip was different, but others didn't mention any thing .. so I was wondering how to find different zip codes for other USPS locations., if one exist..

Like you said, all the USPS PO BOX may have a different ZIP code than their physical location. When you open the P.O BOX they will give you your PO BOX address. Just google their physical location and compare them to see if they are different

yes it would be much better to differ the unit number.

I am more talking about people that want to keep the same box eg. they
prepaid it, often you can change the company name for free. Some boxes allow up to 3 company names but this is more expensive.

for me 1 box gives me 3 addresses. 2 are for accounts which are real name, business name and no box number. Then my returns address for sticker on package is box company name and unit number. The box number returns address has been hugely successful with dodgy return customers, I tell them it needs tracking and it will be independantly opened and verified by the box company and I swear cases have been dropped over it.

Great info.

From reading the forum I was under the impression that it's risky to even use the same WORD in an address, let alone the same CITY, POSTCODE,STREET and building NUMBER.

I'm very surprised but obviously it works as it's been tried and tested.

Apparently you can add a PO Box as a returns address with AMz US.

Are they accepted for AMz UK ?

Yes, for US account you can add P.O BOX as return address. Not sure about UK

I use PO Boxes. I have also never had a problem giving the Physical address of the PO box and receiving a delivery.

I actually had a relative in another state open up a PO box for me there...

Didnt want multiple PO boxes in the same geographic area out of concern...
