Yes, that is correct. This is an enforced metric. My account standing is currently in "poor" because of this. All my metrics are good except I have like a 70% on time delivery due to xmas madness =/

That is good - how much is average value of item you sell? $ wise

Have you received any warnings from Amazon?

My thinking is that poor on time shipping might not trigger a review or suspension. However, if it ever went under a manual review for something else, this would not look good

Hi all, let me share my experience on this. I always ship 100% with tracking numbers and October 2013 there was a delay from the shipping company about 20 days which caused a lot of tracking numbers to have no history for few weeks. In November after the time for shipping has ended Amazon mailed me that some of my orders has no tracking information and my status was changed to poor and below 90% just for that even all tracking number had delivered status as after the delay i mentioned they were updated and got detailed tracking history. Metrics says you need >98% of orders to has tracking numbers and it seems the system check it, but as i read here lot of people dont add tracks as well. Maybe on old strong account is ok, but new one will look like scam thing not to add any.

Competing on a no-tracking level is very difficult, especially if those metrics are eventually enforced more heavily by Amazon. Mainly the reason is because of the creation of epacket shipping from China. They can get light items all the way to the US WITH tracking for less than anyone here in the US.

If you see a seller shipping something from China/Hong Kong at a too low to be true price, don't even question it. Epacket shipping is the reason China should be banned from the US marketplace.
