Suspension after 50 transactions

One of my Amazon Ghost accounts hit 51 transactions.

I noticed on the top of my Seller Central page I was suspended for selling and in order to lift it, I would need to complete the Tax Interview (I did receive the email at ~30 sales asking for SSN).

I purposely ignored it to see when exactly the limit/suspension would kick in.

My question is, if I wait until after December, will the transactions reset to 0 and will the suspension be lifted?

(I tried searching in the forum, but threads were from 2011 and 2012 - prior to this 50 transaction limit).

Thanks in advance,

Re: Suspension after 50 transactions

I'm going to wait this out until year rolls over to see if anything changes in January.

I was trying to find an answer to this also. I have 9 ghost accounts sitting at 49 transactions. Hoping the number resets in January.

I have been wondering the same thing. Keep us posted, lots of people have accounts with 49 items.

What's the big deal, just give tax info. You can get an EIN on IRS website for free

As Kelly says, whats the big deal, just fill in the form. This is only amazon.com protecting themselves. And why would it reset in every month. This is income generated which tax is payable on. There are many ways around this form anyway, but this is for you to work out.

Agreed.
We are supposed to be running a business. Yes we might be able to out do AZ, but never the government.

The government is a lot harder on you than anything AZ can do to us.

There's no issue in filling in the form. I was just wondering if the number 'resets' to 0 once the year rolls over.

I plan on using an ein with the account.
