Most if not all companies have only so many Static IP's. So they will assign you one IP - that is it. You may get allowed to get a different one if your nice with their support - but then that old one is in the cycle and if you buy another VPS you may get your old IP (always keep track of IPs!).
If you change the IP, what ever program you use to connect the VPS may not update - nor does your portal know where to connect to, brings up more issues..
Going with that.. it will depends whom you go with. VMware literally makes an OS run inside of an OS. I run VMware Windows XP, and give the machine ~3GB ram and 2 of my cores to use.
I have issues with more than 10-12 user with XP (due to lag on login screen).
SO I just have several VM images - ebay 1, ebay 2, etc. Each has 10 accounts. |
