Is this another new amazon trick
 

One of my US accounts got suspended, basically selling to much to quick. Got the message that the account was suspended, appealed but failed. Said funds would be disbursed after 90 days, so no big deal. But yesterday got another suspension notice on the same account,30 days later than the original, same message, said funds would be disbursed after 90 days. Sent message to seller performance asking whats going on and basically they say the 90 days now begins from yesterday and not from the original suspension.

Absolutely nothing, all that is said that the 90 days begins from the date of suspension. The second suspension overrides the first suspension. This could be a new way of keeping your money. Yes very worrying.

Wow that sounds terrible, if they would of done that to me when my 90 days was up, I would of flipped out, and been devastated. Either way I never heard of this happening.

I really wish we new someone, an employee "on the inside" who could, with their magic wand remove all of our suspensions on our AZ accounts, for a small fee of course, and restore our selling privileges.

I did actually out of curiosity got into Amazon but in a distribution centre (or fulfilment centre as you would say).

It was terrible place to work in and work for and now I hate Amazon to work for and work with. On the plus side I did get some nice info into operations in a FC and saw what was selling well!

I have quit the job now as I dont need the job it was mainly to get some dirt and info from the inside.

You do realise that if they caught you, You would have been suspended and had your wages kept for 90 days ...

I was curious.... they have had some major bad media of late in local papers and there was a national TV documentary on the same week i was about to start. Was really bad lol

I did two night shifts, handed my badge in at the end of the second shift...i had done and seen enough!

To destroy the beast you have to know the beast.

It was just a shame it was a packing job, would have loved to got into the seller performance team!! Now id stick that job out just to unblock accounts for a small fee! ;)

I am sure Az monitors this activity HIGHLY so your plan would not last long...you might last a few nights at best hah like your fulfillment position...

They are opening a fullfillment center here sometime in 2014. Its 15mins from my house. I really do want to get a job there in the I.T department if they have any openings :)

Not much to tell except that the job was horrendous and I hated it thank god I didn't really need the money. Some guys there had no choice. Glad I did!

If its in IT then I'm sure it will be a better position than on the warehouse floor but be warned Az do treat there staff like numbers, they all go in for the game of we have fun and its a fun company to work for but it really is just sugar coated :croc:

Been to amazon head office in Slough UK many times, as we are a vendor also. The staff, management are all brainwashed and call themselves 'Amazonian's', but they are happy, and they give me a good living. There will be no marketplace IT in any fulfilment centre.

Yea they are just based in Slough the elusive seller performance team. Been tempted to go there just to give them a piece of my mind. Maybe a group of us folks should go and put on a good stage protest right outside there office!
