best way to get xp or windows 7 for VMware Workstation 10
 

Amazon Ghost says to use xp or Windows 7 for VMware.
Im wondering what is the best way (inexpensive & cheap & quick) to get an os.
Any ideas?

Well, if you really want something coming from Windows world, you can use the Xp installation disk if you have one or alternatively borrow it from someone and use one of the many registration keys that Mr. goooooogle have.

The cheapest and easy (?) way to go if you want a generic os is go for LINUX.
Plenty of distro, free and easy to install.

Believe me, if you just need it to browse the internet and have a look at your PP and EB there is nothing to know about it and you do not have to be an exper to use it. Open the browser and it will inherit the connection from the mothership (your real PC).

inexpensive & cheap & quick?

Inexpensive: go XP
Cheap: 8Gb HDD and 512MB RAM- single or duo core is good enough
Quick: Start up faster than the other windows OS.

Vista -> Very Slow performance
Win 7 - >Great in performance and graphic
Win 8 -> Stupid -> just for look
XP -> Best for Stealth, but the graphic is not SHAPE like win 7 & 8
Anyways. You can't use only one OS for all accts. You need to make them as different as you can.

Why not. I used Win XP for all my account no problem for years
