Proof of identity for disbursement
 

Has anyone else had to show proof of identity by sending in a bill with the address on file with Amazon? One member here reported they had to recently. I am hoping this is a rare instance and not the norm for new accounts? Could it be they are only doing this for addresses that don't show up on public record.



Is there a goodrogram that will allow you to scan and edit a bill to the stealth address?

NO, I guess he tried to apply for something like a loan or credit card, NOT for seller's disbursement.

You want to scan and edit online or mail statement?

Online statement => Use PDF editor

Mail Statement => Use Photoshop

He claims it was for a seller disbursement. However, he also mentioned plying for Amazon Payments so maybe that's why they held disbursement.


Let's hope that AZ doesn't ever ask for IDs, I heard it is rare that they do.
