What I have read. Pro Merchant is required to win the Buy Box

no you won't, you are grandfathered into the daily disbursement

I have another question. I upgraded to a pro merchant account, after having an individual selling account for 3 years. I'm selling a movie for $15 less than my competition. How long will it take or will I get the buy box? The seller that has it now is doing FBA, I'm not. But like I said my price is $15 cheaper than his. Right now I'm selling about 4 movies a day but I'm hoping the buy box would increase that.
