need help with VMPLAYER
 

hi i'm new to AMAZON STEALTH

I'm trying to download VM player from this website
https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/fre...are_player/6_0

VM downloaded successfully , but when i opened the VMPLAYER .
I'm getting this message :
PXE-MOF- NO BOOT FILE NAME RECEIVED
OPERATION SYSTEM NOT FOUND.

i've been trying for over a week ...

I am using windows 8

please help

if that's does not work is there any other software i can use instead of VMWARE

Sign up an account with VMware and download the VMWare Word Station V9. And google the key

Oracle Virtual Box works perfectly and the basic program (not the workstation) is free.
No need to google any activation key.

i,ve tried but i when opening the program

A million dollar question. Did you actually install guest operating system? You mentioned that you have Windows 8 but I think you are referring to your host OS.

VMWare, vbox, is like an xbox. It will play whatever you let it play. But you need to purchase (obtain) a game to play it. Game in this case is the operating system.

Legit way is to buy a CD or download an ISO from MS. Or download Linux. But seeing that you are struggling with VMware, Linux would be ill-advised.

yes i'm still struggling with this vm ware...........
i would prefer buy a cd , which one do you recommend ?
