amazon methods with my account
 

I recently startye selling on amazon and sent out about 40 orders. I had about 400 dollars in my account when I got his email:



Hello from Amazon.

We closed your account because we believe that you posted offers on our site and confirmed orders that you did not intend to fulfill.

Due to the proprietary nature of our business, we do not provide details on our investigation methods.

If we determine that a seller account has been used to engage in fraud or other illegal activity, we may permanently withhold remittances and payments. In accordance with this policy, we do not plan to transfer any funds to you.

I have always used tracking numbers for all my orders and have never not sent out an item. Why would amazon do this and is this legal? even if I have tracking numbers for all orders.

everything is legal as something is buried in tier TOS that you agreed to when you signed up.

Did the tracking numbers not update or something to make them feel like you werent fulfilling the orders and simply providing tracking to get paid?

Amazon has build in tracking that seems to let them know when items are delivered

amazon can do what they want.

It is their game so you need to follow the rules.

You agreed to their T&S when you signed up. Your error was not reading the fine print.
Broadly speaking, what category are your items?

Expand on the age of the account etc.

Although I never got banned, I did get the same warning from Amazon after 3 weeks saying I sold items and did not intend to ship them.

I never knew why, because I never canceled any orders and I used Amazon shipping for all orders, so I have no idea how they got that.

Amazon likes to pull things out of a hat, something happened on your account they did not like.

What were you selling? Anyone complain?

amazon like an angery old man that can't be understand well.
follow his rules not seem safe because they change it they want anytime.
you have no abiltry to follow it ASPS.normal person will make mistakes.
but just one times you will got suspended that's fatal.
I think if you sell your own brand product is safe better no else.

Ive had this happen to multiple seller accounts this time of the year for no rhyme or reason. Metrics good and green.

My theory is that Amazon has to self-correct thier seller inflation due to the increase of sellers brought on to fulfil holiday orders.

Keep 6 featured accounts in a sleeper state at all times to dull the pain when this type of senseless account deletion takes place.

Sounds like you had a listing for something that could be phake. It would help to know what category you were listing under.

40 items for $400. That about $12/item before fees. Is that lowball price? Amazon knows how much stuff should cost. May not be a problem on established account - but on new account looks risky. Just a guess really without more details from you.
