Banned Seller, will they close buyer account?
 

I am about to give up with this amazon selling nonsense.

One annoyed customer and the next thing you know you are suspended. I've appealed and been allowed back on numerous times but I've had it this time.

My question is, if this time I'm permanently banned, will they ban my buyer account?

I buy a lot from amazon and have a kindle and use mturk so this would be very bad.

I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

Your buying side should be OK. I had an old Amazon seller account suspended a year ago. On that same user account, the buying side is fine and I can make purchases without issue.

Kindle is most probably your savour. There was a court case a year or so ago and amazon lost due to the fact that the Plaintiff had bought a Kindle and could only buy software from amazon.

Short answer..no account is safe.

They will absolutely not close your buying account from my experience. The reason is there was a court case that prevents them from doing this. If you have a Kindle and they close your account, the Kindle is rendered useless since AZ locks you out from using non kindle books...

Welcome to the forums - most of the time your buyer account stays open BUT do not use the credit card that was entered when you made the seller account (to be safe)
