amazon listings blocked (yellow block icon)
 

hi, all

i have had a couple listings being blocked (with yellow block icon). already sold 4 items for one of the blocked listing. just couldn't figure out the reason they blocked the two listings. one is for a surface keyboard and one is for an iPad 2

anyone experienced this before?

there is an option to unblock those listings, but without knowing the reason behind the block, it seems risky to unblock them.

for the 4 items i sold, they got sold within 5hrs or so after i listed them

Seen this for risky listings reported by people - wait for other people to post info but did you get any e-mail message?

Apple products are very high risk. Your account may get deleted.

Sometimes these are automated. I had this happen to me because of wording I had in my condition notes. I called Amazon and they told me the words that I was using to trigger it, I changed them and it was fine.

Also, I have had some Apple items blocked without any messages. The weird thing was that they were just generic Apple cables.

When they block listing thru send u email as well, can u cut paste that email here ?

I get these randomly as well. I have not try to relist the items on the same account as I figured that would beg for SUSPENSION. I usually relist on another account with no problems. I can't not figure out what triggers them.

It turn out the the order that was fulfilled was placed on November 1st FBA. Very strange. So it did not unblock the listing.

I have had 2 other accounts that were suspended right around the 6th week after getting a warning about it.

It's been over 2 months since this warning and I'm wondering if I should wait another month before sending in more FBA. I have been doing a little seller fulfilled

The only thing that is different with this account and the others that got suspended in 6 weeks, is that I sold on those like a wildman right up until suspension. On this one I pulled out about a week after the warning and have sold very little. It may be a trap and they are waiting for me to send in FBA and then delete/suspend my account.

This tends to happen often.

If your listing the item as "NEW" this almost happens every time depending on the item.

Try listing the item as "USED-LIKE NEW" but make sure that in the description YOU DO NOT say "NEW" because you'll get a warning for that too.
