Can you switch from SSN to A EIN
 

I have a legit account I'm using that is one of my friends. I lost my account of 2 years and have paid taxes in the past two years so I have forgot what the limit is before Amazon sends out a form. I hear it's 20,000 or 200 items?
Is this true or does it have to be both?

The reason I ask is I don't want my friends account with his social to get tied
into taxes. It's quite easy to sell 200 items, Is it possible to switch the SSN over to a EIN number with a LLC so I will get the form in the mail and not him.

I bought his account off of him so he knows.
What If I only sell 200 items and make 2,000
Will I get the tax form then?

I would like to take his social and change it over to my LLC/EIN number.
Do you know if that's possible?

1. He will get the tax from if you meet both conditions (200 items AND $20K)
2. You will have no problem when using LLC

Yes, you can switch no problems, I did it in the past
