I've hardly had any returns this year. Is there a potential quality issue with what you are selling? I'm not inferring anything, just thinking about potential causes.

Well as most of my stuff goes international its going to cost $$ to return it. I do get the odd American saying "I dont like the colour can I return it" and I tell them "Sure - but you are responsible for getting it back to me so I advise a tracked service as you will have to make a claim yourself if it goes missing".

Then they get to the post office and get a shock. Tracked shipping out of the USA to Europe went up bigtime last year.

Thats usually the last I hear of it.

My 90 day is 5.8%. All my items are brand new and sealed. I sell quite a bit of products.
They are FBA items, more then a handful were "sellable" and went back into inventory. The other items I suspect are still good but were just opened.
With my returns this period and Amazon Lending payments due this week im not going to make anything:(
Very nice if you did not get any returns!

Not sure what your return window is, but perhaps it has to do with Christmas and how people buy gifts for other people...Sometimes they get the wrong thing/color/size/etc...

I know it may be easier to let them keep it but you are training Amazon customers to think that way. You and me will get more an more return requests hoping they can keep the item.

Return ratio is often heavily correlated with business model...the shadier it is, the higher the return rate. Of course, there is nothing wrong with having a shady business model...all businesses are shady in their own way. Keep the $$$ flowing :-)

define shady....

If its shady business practices i.e slow postage, item not described etc then its only a matter of time before the warnings come from Amazon/Ebay and they shut your account down from low stats.

If its shady as in counterfeit items...again you can expect it to be only a matter of time before your accounts get shut down. Not even Stealth will help you here....
