How many feedback/sales for amazon to consider you safe?

Is there a point when amazon start trusting you more ? I see sellers with 100k plus feedbacks, I am sure with that many sales there are dozens of complains too.. But they still don't get suspended ... number of sales, volume feedback adds up to trust ? If that is the case how much volume, feedback to do need before amazon start trusting you more?

i think unless you are one of the big guys you are NOT safe no matter how much feedback or sales you have.

there simply won't be that kind of trust, you may get the benefit of the doubt but at the end of the day too many will get you canned.

Bit sellers mean nothing to amazon.

Majority will 'get by' but can face the axe over minor problems.

nobody is safe on amazon, because amazon don't need you. If you are selling an item and they close you, the amazon customer will buy that item from another seller so amazon never loose as sellers are queuing up to sell.

Experimentation - trial and error - just because other sellers do it, doesn't mean it is easy to pull off.

WTF has experimentation got to do with amazon regarding the account as 'safe'?

:p

I think the only "safe" sellers are the huge already businesses that have a direct speed dial line to Amazon corporate.

There are many articles about Amazon killing accounts doing 1mil a year.

AVhouse lost there featured merchant status last week for whatever reason. I sell alot of the same items and they are no longer getting the buybox. I noticed there negs were at 8% the past month though.

That should give you an idea :)

They dont have the buybox in electronics for the past week and they are the lowest price on everything I am watching.

I bet their sales of plummeted so low its crazy.

I gained featured this week in electronics though! What a nice prize to start 2014 off.

We might see a new member soon, under the handle "AVH"

I know that feeling about over 1 mil. We did 1.2M and got killed right after Christmas 2012.

thats not getting canned, thats simply not mentioning the proper metrics for the buybox. its easy to regain the buy box as well.

I watch 'big sellers' in my categories.

AVHouse must be a fav for user 3657 given the category they sell in.

Helps keep an eye on amazon activity.

what greenie said but also you had asked if big sellers are almost, "immune".

I dont know how much AVhouse grosses but im sure its in the mils a year, and they dont have featured this week. Yes, of course they will get it back very soon but my point is if big sellers reach a point that they become "immune", AVhouse has not reach that point yet. They are huge. I dont think you are ever safe unless you are a brick and mortar store with contacts at Amazon who over ride all the automatic crap :)

wow phd, why did you get killed?

Didn't know any better at the time.
Opened a 2nd US and Canada account. Wanted to reorganize and streamline the business.
Thought it was a smart idea.
And I was right. I got to streamline and reorganize; but not how I hoped.
