Amazon selling limits?

I've got an amazon UK account that I used maybe 3-4 years ago, which sat dormant for a while when I switched to a Japanese seller account, and now I've turned back to the UK one. In the apst two months, I've had a boom of sales and I'm rather worried about what kind of selling limits amazon has?

Anyone know if there's an investigation limit, or anything that would trigger flags?

(As a side note, I sell medium-value items that always get shipped with a tracking code which is registered on the dispatch notification)

amazon will review your account sooner or later. They don't have a set limit like ebay does, but they will eventually manually review your account

I had always told it was around 700 per month and then it goes up as you age the account. They review passed on sales I believe so it will vary.

And reviews for complaints will get you one fast

The review normally lasts for 28 days sometimes longer. You just have to keep within the metrics and get the feedbacks rolling in.

Doesn't amazon have the same 200/20k limits as ebay?

That is an IRS requirement for all Payment Processors, not just PAYPAL or Amazon

On an individual seller account Amazon will require a tax ID after 50 items and on a pro merchant you need to provide one when you first start selling.

It an IRS law but different payment processors set there own rulings when to get the tax ID from their customers, and it would be wise to get that information well before anyone crosses that threshold , because if they allow anyone to,cross that threshold without having a tax ID than I, sure they will need to answer to the IRS
