| digirally | 02-03-2014 05:41 AM | Will different country be a problem? My friend has an Amazon seller account that he has been using for several years. He has been based in Germany and selling from the Germany (uses a dropshipper).
He is moving on from Amazon so I asked if I could have his account and supplier and he said ok.
Will it raise flags or get me banned if I log in on an US IP address? Do I need to get a DE proxy or something?
Thanks
(Also, I request payment to US address, will this be a problem?) |

(Also, I request payment to US address, will this be a problem?) | i made an account using a prepaid gift card on amazon with uk address.

am not sure what was reason.
since then i dont use different ip in different o****ry if card is in different coutnry |
Re: Will different country be a problem? Should be ok, you could get a German VPS but running Amazon will be very slow. |

Also, u said u use dongle, so u log in all over the world with local IP with no problem? |

I have absolutely no experience in this but it seems too risky to me.
You could use a VPS for a year or so an, if really necessary, switch to another country's IP.
Why take the risk to toast a 4 years old account this way?
Just my opinion. |

Just my opinion. | VPS are known to amazon. Probably better to keep in mind other customers who do damage using the IP range of the VPS.
Why could a business person travelling around not use a (local based) dongle?
More realistic.

:mod: | Because the countries that he wants to go to are probably all not Amazon marketplace countries.
I say go for it and log in from wherever, I've logged in from some very obscure locations before with no problem
Using VPS you'll probably want to bang your head against the wall after a few hours anyway. |
| digirally | 02-06-2014 02:38 AM | Re: Will different country be a problem? I am confused. I think you are all mistaken. I am not traveling the world. I live in US long term, not moving anywhere.
My friend lives in Germany and he gave me his account to use (I live in the USA) Quote:
