Default ODR over 1% - what now?

OK, so on account of an idiot that opened up AZ claim cause he had a bad email address in Amazon and thought I was ignoring his return request and now a negative feedback from scammer my short term ODR is over 1%. Long-term is still zero.

So what should I expect? As soon as these roll into long-term my account automatically will be suspended?

This sucks.

When the numbers roll into the long term category, they should be under 1%, since they will be counted against all of your sales during the various time periods. Let's say you had 1,200 sales in the last year, 100 per month. Your short term ODR is over 1% because you have 2 bad sales out of 100. When it rolls over, you will have 2 bad sales out of 1,200, which is under 1%.

Of course, what the actual percentages will be depends on the number of sales you have.

Looks like my short term ODR is 60 days and long term is 90 days - not a year. With a 2 week lag for long-term.

Well, I see that Legit Hustler is still open for business so maybe things aren't as bleak as they seem right now.

What works for one seller may not necessarily work for you - not something to emulate that's for sure

I wonder if it is possible for the same customer to hit you 3 times on 1 transaction, that is negative feedback, A-Z claim and then do a chargeback.

That is the worst seller i have ever seen on amazon.

Based on his neg feedback alone his ODR is 96%, at best.

Incredible!

Of course - resulting in the buyer profiting from the transaction...it is doable but quite fraudulent

Same here @zoneout. My short term ODR just shot up to 3.57% this morning.

Yesterday it was 0%. It shows that it is because of one negative feedback.

It also shows that 3.57% is my ODR out of my 28 orders, but I have almost 200 complete orders.

Anyone have any thoughts on this??

Yeah, in that regard ebay's system is better. They don't count percentage until after you have 2 or 3 low DSRs in a category. Kinda rediculous that 1 negative FB from a grouchy customer who is mad at the world can wreak havoc. My 2 marks are from one guy who had the wrong email address in Amazon so wasn't getting my replies and the other is a genius that couldn't figure out how to put a battery in the device he bought.

Right now my ODR has the yellow triangle meaning a fair score. Long term is at 1.08%. What makes the status show as poor with red mark?

My long term ODR still shows 0%. I'm hoping that as the system updates to show the real order volume my short term will also go down where it should be. I had no idea that one negative feedback could wreak such havoc on an account.

And it wasn't negative feedback for anything defective, and the customer never once contacted me. The comment in the feedback was that the item wasn't received before AZ's promise date.

Several emails and still haven't heard a word from the customer. IMO feedback should not so heavily dictate ODR. You can't please everyone.

That sucks. Just about all my shipments are getting delayed due to this winter-from-hell. Sure makes it hard to believe global warming isn't BS.
