Buyer filed A-to-Z claim, but I already offered him full refund

So a buyer from the Czech Republic filed an A-to-Z claim. I already offered this guy a full refund, but after I send him the message, he copies my message in which I offer him the full refund and posts that in his A-to-Z claim. This guy thinks that Amazon has to issue the refund, and he probably thought that he needs my approval first or something.

And his communication skills are extremely poor. This is all he has ever said:

''Item not arrive please refund''

''Please refund thanks''

''Seller says refund please refund''

That's all he has ever said.

So now I have issued a full refund via the A-to-Z claim.
This is my first A-to-Z claim, and totally unnecessary if you ask me!

Will this have a negative impact on my account?

Should I contact seller support and explain them that it is a misunderstanding or something? (I am stealth)

well there is nothing you can do about this. The A-Z claim has been filed and will count against you alongside any negative feedbacks you get

If same buyer leaves a negative, only one of the 2 infringements will go against you

You are basically allowed 1 infringement per 100 transactions

Can you tell if he actually got the item?

He may be trying to put it on to get something for free.

If the amount is low, just issue the refund.

There is no claim to win anymore since you refunded him. It's basically admitting you areat fault. Amazon doesn't give brownie points for quickly refunding on AZ claims.

Sorry to highjack but if a buyer file an a2z claim and they withdraw it, will it still count?

AZ claims cannot be withdrawn. Welcome to selling on Amazon.

That's what it said on my AtoZ status. The buyer made a mistake and I point it out to him via messages.
