Tethering question
 

If i purchased an i phone4 a how many stealth accounts can I get from it. I know I can only use the phone one time. can i use it for multiple accounts on separate laptops. Will I get a new Ip every time I'm tethered to one of the laptops? This tethering is new to me.


Also has anyone used the add on for firefox (lightbeam)?

IP addresses can always be repeated.

So long as you track your IP and your ISP has a large IP pool then there is no real limit to the number of stealths you could have. It is best practice to have as many different methods of obtaining IP addresses as possible though

Phone tethering is my only way I do it. Its a very good way to get many IPs depending on the phone carrier.

Does the MAC address matter? Since the iPhone only has one Mac

From what I understand, yes. Amazon identifies your computers MAC, as well as the MAC from the device your using for internet.

My suggestion, get use a new phone for every account you plan to use. To avoid using multiple laptops, find yourself a copy of VMware and any version of windows/mac and run each account through a virtual computer. The virtual computer has it's own unique MAC address, and each phone will have it's own.

You can also root most phones and change the mac address of them
