Amazon reviewing two year old account
 

My account is under review, and Amazon has asked for information about my business

Does this mean I lose my account?

I think it maybe down to having low feedback received and a large amount of money coming in?

The account COULD pass review, but there are no guarantees. All you can do is provide the information they requested and try to avoid ANY issues, ESPECIALLY A-Z claims. Be extra polite and professional in any communications with their customers. If there is even a HINT of a complaint, offer a refund. Be on your best behavior, like you are trying to win the JD Powers "Retailer of the Year" award.

Geeze - compared to Eb and Etsy Amazon sounds a BRUTAL place to sell. Fortunately they dont do vintage.

Great advice to be polite.

On the few occasions I have phoned EB and Paypal (non stealth) I am still very polite to them. Ive done customer service and there are ways of getting back if customers pizz you off.

Ruby Lane has the best customer service I have come across. I always got polite and helpful answers to my questions and they dont treat their sellers like rubbish.

my metrics are good, recently my refund has gone up due to customers returning items 3%, for a refund (unwanted Christmas gifts), but seller support says as long as I don't cancel orders and they are customer returns its ok, which they are

Draft out the nice letter that answers their questions. You could pass the review - try to get more feedback and up your metrics.

If I was you I will not appeal and just leave it. I have bad experience with appeal a review. I appealed 2-3 time and they all got suspended with in an hour. Maybe because my English is suck or something :)

Something isn't adding up here. You say your metrics are good but you said you have low feedback received... Which is it? You said you have a large amount of funds coming in... Is this a recent big jump in sales or have they been ramping up steadily over time?

I have bad experience too. Just leave the account and don't appeal. Hopefully it will pass the review.

It sounds like most of you have dealt with this before. Do you maintain more than one Amazon account at all times, just in case?

Metrics are good, but very low feedback last 60 days over 600 sales and 6 feedback comments

That is normal. I have low feedback and have seen many threads here(ebay forums) and on the offical amazon forums about low feedback. The past week though I have made up for it! There is also a thread on Amazon's seller forums that many people have seen a large increase in feedback the past week.

The feedbacks I get is very weird. One guy gave me 5 star on an order he cancelled 50 days ago - it's good I don't complain - just strange. Other feedbacks from old orders maybe like 2 months ago. Why to wait so long.
