Amazon 50% Fee?
 

Wth? Look at this:

Product price was 27,95 Euros.
Item send to South-Korea.

Total Amazon fees are 14,38 - that is a fee of more than 50% of the item price?!

It translates to:

Amazon fees
Fixed acquisition fee: € -1.14
Variable acquisition fee: € -8.42
Sales fee: € -4.82

Why? This is the first time I see this.
I have sold products of 40 Euros (item price) and the fee was like 8 Euros.

Hi man.

Your problem is the "Variable Abschlussgebühr".

Normally Amazon takes 3 Euro shipping (fixed on books, DVDs etc or all articles if you are private).
From these 3 Euros you only recieve 1,14 (or 1,16 something like this).

Well now you have 15 Euro Shipping and obviously they took 8,xx Euros from you.
Nasty Bastar*s.

Are you a private Seller or Pro ? What item (category) was it ?

Seems like you sold a DVD.

I think these "variable fees" are real Bull**** from Amazon.
They bring sellers into real trouble and have a huge impact on the real comission percentages.

Amazon should charge the fee on both Article Price and Shipping plus their fixed 99ct comission for privates and thats it. And yes, I also had this and I hate them. :heh:
