Has anyone ever had Amazon contact them and tell them that they are interested in stocking your items on their platform ?

Yes... it is how AZ does its business. If something sells a lot AZ will contact the manufacturer of the direct distributor and will offer to sell directly.

Hi I am just a reseller on EB , do not have an amazon account.

They called me today, want to set up an account, 6 months free, and 15% comms.

Funny thing is they have made contact through an ebay stealth , so my name and address is skewed . Will tell them it is a business partner. :S

yea man, Amazon , they are setting everything up for me too, just need to give them barcodes.

Dont even know if I got the time to do it, as I work alone, so all my time is taken up listing sourcing etc at the moment.

Seems time consuming.

Will see what it is all about though then make a decision.

amazon is NOT time consuming. Ebay is, with amazon everything is pre filled if its already in their catalog. If not you said their doing it all for you. Well just send the stuff to FBA and all you do is watch the funds roll in...

Hi, I take it Amazon is much more lucrative then ebay ?

On a side note, I got kicked off amazon , a long time ago, however my address was different then.

Dont know if it will make a difference or not. Anyway nothing to lose.

Am not so familiar with Amazon, however the lady did say that if it is already in their stock, then I just give her the amazon barcode.

Will see how it goes I guess

Amazon can be much more lucrative - again depends on product, popularity...and placement (location)

Well they sent me a private link to sign up on , which gives me 6 months free , have just completed the steps

and am registered now

The whole thing sounds bizarre to me. You're saying Amazon out of the blue contacts you thru your eBay stealth info. They know nothing about your business, what you sell, etc. ?

Hi of course they know what I sell, they seen it on ebay, its how they got in touch with me. My ebay is stealth, so when they got in touch they were like , well hello Mr joe Bloggs , today on the phone she referred to me by the same name LOLZ
