Re: amazon dispursement

Bank probably returned the funds to Amazon because the name on the account doesn't match?
Have you used this bank account on this Amazon account to withdraw before this?

I can't say I've ever had a problem with Amazon paying me on approx 20~ different accounts. I'd carefully check your Account # / Routing number to make sure you didn't accidentally enter a wrong #

if Amazon sent the funds to your bank and it gets returned, it is then the bank doing the return and not Amazon.

What type of bank account you using?

May be worth having a talk with your bank. Sounds like an issue their end to me

This has happened twice to me and on both occasions the account was fine. 1st time I missed a number of the bank account and second time my card had expired. Get in touch with amazon and ask what the problem is. They resent my disbursment the day after it failed as I got in touch and told them I needed the money.

If you get on touch with them they will expedite it in certain scenarios if they can. They did it for me

I had a similar problem.. Only the first payment was sent and everything worked fine. Second disbursement didn't go through and was returned to amazon. Has anyone had this happen to them? Not sure why the first would go through and not the second, no info was changed and the account is in good standing with a few positive feedback now and no other issues.

It could be a lot of things but I'd guess the most common is your credit card expiring/ failing amazons funds test.

Re: amazon dispursement

I can still log into the account and sell, everything is as normal, just that the funds were returned from the second disbursement.

I agree. Sounds like Amz playing games and feeling the need to hold the money for even longer than their own 14 days allotment rules.

Never seen it before personally, but will look out for this dirty trick in future.

I agree with Barry, it more than likely your credit card is failing. Amazon will not disburse if you CC fails a test charge.

Alright I'll add another and see what happens, thanks for the info!

Re: amazon dispursement

No......its a trick.....AND A REAL DIRTY ONE!!!! Just happened to me. Feedback 99% Metrics all green straight across. And the worst part is that I talked with 6 representatives and they all played the dumb card and stated its a normal routine that Amazon is doing. But we appreciate your good record and keep up the good work but it will all be over in 4 wks.

is this some type of test they are doing or is Jeff earning a little more interest off our money by holding it hostage??

Here is the deal. I get my disbursements every week automatically. Well my scheduled disbursement of $2k+ failed. First time in 2 yrs. Im like WTF??

OK so I looked at my statements. And there it was back in my account the whole 2k. But a new button has arrived in my account and it is "Scheduled Payment" ????

I hit it and amazon broke the 2k up into three payments. .. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

So they say in two weeks ill get $1100+ and the rest in another 4wks. I am completely in shock at this point. With representatives saying the same S??t....like a tape recorded script I am beyond upset.

Now im not finished as it gets worse.....I have a dozen things to confirm. So I confirm 3 and they add these totals to you guessed it the 4th weeks total and deduct the shipping and fees from the of course the first amt to be disbursed so now the $1100+ after confirming only 3 things is now down to 900 something.

So I haven't confirmed another thing at this rate when im done confirming ill be down to $100 dollars.

Please someone tell me what the Hell is going on here??????

I've no idea what you are on about kev. But one thing that annoys me is when people think amazon and their 100 billion dollar company are out to trick you for $2000. I know it's annoying as hell when they change things and it can have a serious impact.

But I wish people would stop thinking amazon are out to get them. They are a business and they more than likely don't give a crap about your $2000 account. Get in touch with them and find out what is going on before scare mongering.

Re: amazon dispursement

We all know that Amazon is a Billion dollar company and that they can do whatever they please when they dab nabbed want to that is not the point which I see you missed "BIG TIME!!" By your comment.

But I believe this forum was created to give each other a heads up, like warning, when they do this sought of thing. Yeah when you say its only 2k yeah that is small change to a company like Amazon but for small business owners who work hard for there money, have families to support and it's there only income it means a lot. So I chimed in just for that reason........to give someone a heads up that is like me who needs that 2k to pay my unimportant "little don't matter to Amazon bills". Newsflash the 2k matters to me though!!???!!

Re: amazon dispursement

That is how they became a billion dollar company by robbing the third party sellers all these years that's ok to deleate accounts and lock you out and no communication.thats ok though even when sellers are legit no recourse
