Sell yours here...amazon uk

Hi,

With a new ghost account i understand that you should list a % of new and old stock.

When you list your old stock again do you create a brand new listing with a new ean/upc number and wipe the photos clean or can you piggyback your old listing that now says' temporarily unavailable'? By clicking sell yours here and piggyback the old listing will that raise flags ?

Dear Rsot

Sorry to hijack but are you able to tell me what you mean by "piggyback" old listings? I am a little lost in this one.

Thanks

Jase

For Amazon, if you use the old listings and you were the UNIQUE seller of the items...it's an easy link to see that it is "you" again selling, no?

You must, must, MUST make sure that not a single thing links you to old suspended accounts.

amazon detect this.

As GB says, if the item is unique to you and you have been suspended or deleted the chances of selling that unique product again without being linked IMO would be virtually impossible.

Re: Sell yours here...amazon uk

I had an account suspended with 5 top selling items. On my new account I relisted them without any problems. The key is to make sure you have more than enough variety to hide the link. So in my case I had around 100 unique items and then piggybacked on the 5 from my old account.

Amazon do not manually look for these things. It's all based on a computer algorithm which is not going to suspend you for having an inventory which sells 5% of stock that a previously banned account did. Just be very careful.

100:5 is a very good quality ratio...5% - nice - lot more posts about 3:1 to 4:1 but, if you have the chance to do 100:1, I'd go for that too

Yeah, I understand people not wanting to risk it and if they were not such high ranking products I don't think I would have. I will also add that I did not stock a lot of these products. I just charged a price that ensured nobody purchased from me.
