Late shipment ODR questions
 

So the last couple of weeks I got featured seller on a product I sell and I got flooded with orders.

For some reason, on April 13th all my USPS packages got held up for a long time here at the local post office. Long story short my "On-Time" Delivery for the last 7 day stats fell to 90% which gives me a "Poor" rating now.

1 of the shipments, the customer moved from the hotel so the package got returned to me. So amazon is counting the date it was delivered to me as the date it was "delivered"

Should I contact them about this or is it not worth the trouble? Without this, it would bring my deliveries to about 93% for the last 7 days. I have always been at 100% before.

It depends how bad you want the buy box again. Likely you will not get it with a poor rating. They wont suspend you or anything over it though. You can try asking seller support but likely they will tell you that it is how the system works and there is nothing they can do.

It will go back up anyway as your delivery times improve.

I have ran into the same problem and now have a POOR rating.

I ship every item on time and using the selected service...

What can a shipper do if USPS is so damn slow?

My only thought to boost it up is to ship UPS Ground for a few weeks and eat the loss to boost the on time delivery back up...But when you switch back to USPS the same problem with occur again...

unless you are shipping larger items ups is really not worth it. upgrade to usps priority mail it will probably be around the same price as ups but way faster

the problem wasn't with the orders being sent out late, the problem was that during this "day" that USPS seemed to be having problems, I had a lot of orders that went out.

I'm hoping to fix it soon by mailing stuff out priority for now until everything gets back to normal.

Ask your local post office what their cutoff time for the truck is and if they ALWAYS get the out if you are on time

Whatever they tell you make it 30 minutes earlier on Friday as they like to rush out for the weekend - know this from experience. :mad:
