Funds transfer delayed...

My funds were delayed due to the credit card I had on the account had expired.

Amz did not warn me to update the details in advance (like eBay do). My fault.

I added the new card, but it said my funds are coming out on the next transfer date. Means waiting another 2 weeks.

Concerned about selling more until this first lot of funds come out as it is over 7K and would be 14K by next transfer then.

So was wondering whether to contact Amz directly for a more recent transfer?

Also, if the card was added, is this all that needs to be done or in 2 weeks when they check it again, will it be ok? (Plenty of funds on the card)

amazon usually auto check the card on file to make sure its valid before they initiate a deposit. Even if you contact seller support they will inform you to wait until next transfer date. keep selling if you haven't had any issues you will get your money in 2 weeks. seems like long but thats how it goes sometimes.

From now, keep tabs on the card.

amazon can be unpreditable with sweeps from cards. Make sure it is not only current but has funds.

Hope all is OK for you.

Re: Funds transfer delayed...

Ok,thanks.

I think it might be best to wait until they pay the first 7K, rather than risk another 7K on top of that. Can't afford to be losing 14K...

Also, when I added the card to the account, would it be checked at the time of adding to make sure it is valid?

Would an invalid card be able to be added to my account initially and not be found out to be valid until the £1.00 or so test check?

Just concerned, as the card is successfully added to the account and has funds and is current, so does this mean the card is fine?

Nope, numbers need to be accurate or the account is flagged...

I had this same problem. My card expired and I didn't realise it so my payment was not sent. I changed the card and got in touch with amazon explaining what had happened and they sent the payment the next day. So the choice is yours.
