any luck with the new UK id requirements
 

Has anybody had any luck getting around the new ID requirements for UK accounts? It seems that even established accounts are having to comply as well. Can Amazon verify the info or is it just a case of uploading docs and waiting to see if they accept them? Sorry if this has been discussed but I can't access the subscriber forums. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I'm also waiting for someone to post a success story but some people have submitted the documents. Let's see what happens.

ok thanks...this seems like the biggest hurdle to overcome in many years and hundreds of accounts!! Hopefully there will be some positive news soon...

I also think so because with this passport requirement many people are gonna lose their old account, where they made ££££££. I hope they will change their way of verification soon. PayPal takes just 1-3 working days to check info.

Amazon which is the topic of this thread is taking longer.....

Im waiting!! Its been on awaiting verification more than 2 weeks. Last email
They asked what i plan to sell, that was a week ago. All docs have been submited

No there is no other way to get around the ID document info, other than to submit the documents they require.

You have to subscribe tot he forum to be able to get tot he juicy information :)
