Amazon removes all Disney Frozen items.

Amazon removed all Frozen items today because of all the phakes listed.

What a shame.

They are going to investigate every seller who hsd these listed and ask for receipts pictures etc.

All of mine came direct from Disney World so I am covered.

Good luck. Hopefully they will let you back in, and not ignore you or dispute
the receipts.
Let us know how long it takes.

Since amazon partnered with Disney they have complete control of Disney merchandise a lot of the categories are becoming more and more restrictive eventually we won't be able to sell anything. To me it looks like they are narrowing down the small seller . To eventualually we will be extinct

I think Disney feels they are being undercut so they are trying to stop it.

Word is they are looking at each account and having Disney reps tell them whst is authentic and what is not.
they wont accept receipts yet until they are done looking.
I'm being told if your items are not authentic you probably will be canned.
I just filled it up with tons of Disney limited edition items.
I will be fine and will send all of mine fba was they clear out the phakes.

They are doing the same to the high street. Amazon will be one of the only places to shop in 20 years time

Unfortunately that is how it has always been, big companies make there name from the hard work, blood and sweet from the little guy , and than either buy them out or push them out

And it feels like the same is now, happening with both amazon and eBay

Re: Amazon removes all Disney Frozen items.

This does not surprise me. Amazon has been removing the ability to sell various DVD's - not just from Disney - for a long time now. But I just looked at the listings for Frozen, and 33 sellers still have them listed, many with very few feedbacks. So, they were probably targeting sellers they suspected of selling phakes.

The thing is, Amazon KNOWS what real wholesale pricing is, so when people list a dvd that normally costs $15 wholesale for $9.95, they KNOW that something is up. And Disney dvd's are among the most counterfeited items out there. I'm surprised they have not simply banned all marketplace sellers from listing any dvd's at all.

It will be interesting to see what else develops, Amazon has not usually requested receipts and such in the past, they just closed the accounts of the people they suspected were selling phakes.

I am hoping it will be ok for you, but are you worried about this issue and that they might do something to affect the disbursements? Have they done anything?

Amz do not seem to care at all if people are selling real or f*ke goods as long as there is no complaints from anyone.

I have been shut down for selling 100% genuine items by disgusting rival sellers and lying fraudulent buyers in the past, so the issue is not whether the item is real or not.

sandy is playing amazon/competitors/buyers lightly. she's usually an ebay seller, doesn't fully realize how cut throat amazon is once you get into a market where you start under cutting the competition.

ebay king is right. most of my accounts lost are from competitors and buyers who i can't prove to be competitors but always same excuses.

Not worried at all.

To many other avenues to sell items.

I already knew how cut throat they are.

Oh yes I do realize it.

Difference in my case is most competition can take down stealth accounts, mine is my original and many years old and solid.

This Disney Frozen issue has nothing to do with competition at all. It is all about Amazon doing what ebay should be doing and weeding out the phakes and removing those sellers.

Mine are real, purchased at Disney and I have my receipts. Many sellers who are selling or were selling them could not provide this as word is Disney has put into place a sale rep team to tell Amazon what is real and what is not.

So I am good.

This thread is just to tell others Disney Frozen items were taken down.

Has this happened to any other product in the recent past like this?

Re: Amazon removes all Disney Frozen items.

That was easy enough.

All Disney Frozen items are back active.

Not much competition right now with so many sellers items being blocked from active.
