| Sandy D | 05-31-2014 04:15 PM | Many of you use a bar code scanner to list inventory on Amazon? Just wondering if many of use use a hand held bar code scanner to add inventory to Amazon? |
| MICKY H | 05-31-2014 07:04 PM | Re: Many of you use a bar code scanner to list inventory on Amazon? YES, always, then you are 100% you are listing against the correct ASIN |
| Gamefreak | 05-31-2014 07:21 PM | Re: Many of you use a bar code scanner to list inventory on Amazon? I've been waiting to get one so start as my variety of items are getting too much for me to handle.. |

| Dmshark25 | 05-31-2014 07:40 PM | Re: Many of you use a bar code scanner to list inventory on Amazon? I started using the Amazon seller App on my IPad and you can scan any item and than list. Scanning makes listing items so easy or just looking them up for prices
I use the App which is relatively new, but I only have my original account that I made a couple years ago so no worrying about linking |
| Lucifer | 05-31-2014 07:43 PM | Re: Many of you use a bar code scanner to list inventory on Amazon? so hw can use from my laptop? Also Can i do this with our private ASIN(From GS1) no?? could you please explain bit. Thanks |
| Sandy D | 06-02-2014 08:11 AM | Re: Many of you use a bar code scanner to list inventory on Amazon? I think some people get scanners confused.
I am not talking about scanning apps to see what items sell for.
I am talking about a bar code scanner that puts your item into Amazon inventory.
I just got mine and ready to start using it today.
I use my phone to scan items to see what they sell for other then that. |
| Dmshark25 | 06-02-2014 08:49 AM | Re: Many of you use a bar code scanner to list inventory on Amazon? Now there is a new Amazon selling App, that you can scan an item and it is added to your inventory , makes it even easier to list an item on Amazon |
| Hercules | 06-02-2014 09:53 AM | Re: Many of you use a bar code scanner to list inventory on Amazon? What if you make your items, like hand made mail boxes or some art drawings etc. Where do you get asin numbers for that? Or how do you list them? |
| JLove0803 | 06-03-2014 09:27 PM | Re: Many of you use a bar code scanner to list inventory on Amazon? You have to buy UPC codes for homemade items. |
| Sandy D | 06-03-2014 10:47 PM | Re: Many of you use a bar code scanner to list inventory on Amazon? Received my scanner today and scanned 50 items into inventory in no time flat.
I bought the hand held one that comes with a base so you can just click the box and run it under the scanner and done. |

Hey Sandy new technology, its amazing, mind you the scanner was first used in 1974.....Sandy sorry for being sarcastic, but are far better tools for using with amazon designed in the last year. I run several accounts with 1000's of lines and the time taken is less than 2 hours a day for me. |

I had a stack of items here and I scanned them in no time.
With this I could do a 100s in no time easily.
I have not done or needed to do much Amazon but recently decided to look deeper into it because I run 100s of ebay accounts and did not have the extra time to dig into Amazon.
I still do not but I have taken the time to get it rolling and in my first month of selling on Amazon on a daily basis I have done extremely well.
Ready to ship a ton of items to FBA soon as well.
I also sell over a 1000 items a month on etsy so time is limited. |

| MICKY H | 06-04-2014 08:05 AM | Re: Many of you use a bar code scanner to list inventory on Amazon? Sandy, there is so much tech out there now that can make life very easy, like you have just discovered. Auto listings from your database, auto pricing, auto invoices as soon as a order is made etc etc. The only problem is humans have to pick and pack. FBA is the way forward IMO. |

FBA is the way forward IMO. | With tons of inventory and other avenues I sell lots of items including antique malls, esty, ebay and other antique sites I am looking deeply into doing a ton of fba at some point due to time constraints.
Hopefully this month I will be able to send off a huge shipment to fba and sit back and let them do the work for me. |
| Sandy D | 06-07-2014 03:20 PM | Re: Many of you use a bar code scanner to list inventory on Amazon? Selling books as fast as I can list them.
Goodness I did not know books, even not the lowest price would sell this fast.
I buy tons of books at auctions, entire boxes full for 2.50-5.00 and have a huge inventory of them.
This scanner has been perfect for this. |
| kastoria1 | 07-20-2014 10:24 AM | Re: Many of you use a bar code scanner to list inventory on Amazon? Sandy can you tell us which scanner and where we can find it as well and does it automatically sync to your ebay and or amazon accounts out of the box or there is a bit of configuration? |
