Questionable items to legit items spectrum
 

Hi All,
I have been selling on amazon and ebay for many years and I have sold a wide range of products from "very questionable" to super legit. It seems like there is a spectrum of these products and some of the generic products in the middle fall into a gray area, meaning sometimes they will get flagged and most of the time they will not get flagged. Is there a general reason of why the generic items in the middle of this spectrum seem to get flagged sometimes and do not get flagged most of the time?

usually ppl report your listing, it gets looked at then removed. If you sell a lot that usually seems to be the case or if you piss someone off that seems to be the case.

'Generic items in the middle of the spectrum' may not be as generic as they appear.

Have a look at Facebook. There's a couple of companies there offering really discounted
cell phone accessories,iphone accessories and cases from comapnies that have strict VeRo policies.

Buy off them, list them nearly anywhere and there's the chance of issues.

As gamefreak says it's normally competitors and on the odd occasion a stupid customer in my experience. I was selling generic EarPods and apparently apples "counterfeit team" requested the item was removed. Never mind the fact that apple use a 3rd party for this and there are literally thousands of other sellers with this item.
