There's little definite advice I'm afraid but Amazon WILL have access to databases so can cross check the details that you send them. Whether this is done immediately (may even be checked automatically), I'm not sure, but if inconsistencies show up, they will ask for yet more info.
It seems to be a case of 'try it and see' though submitting 'real' details will be a risk if those details have already been used (to verify a genuine account).
