UK- Amazon New Seller Rulez for registring
 

Hello every one,
this is my first question and I really need your help!
I am a customer of amazon ghost. which is a fantastic book. and it helped me a lot all the way long.
but now there is a new problem on amazon.co.uk not sure if they use the same security measure for USA.
I used this amazon ghost guide and made a new account perfect but as soon you go on seller central home page there is a big note. that they need more information before we can list any items on amazon.co.uk
here is a list they are asking for:
1- personal identity verification
we can only select: uk passport, eu passport, other passport, driving license
now remember it is a stealth account and we do not have any of them.
once you select the option you have to provide the passport or license number.
2- mini payment confirmation
no problem

3- provide a utility bill and one from option 1 (passport,license etc)
we have to scan them and upload to amazon.co.uk
once amazon receive it, they will check and match with uk gov record and then we will be able to list the items.


there is no way we can go through these measures.

any idea guys?

this is very hard now.

I hate to point out the nasty obvious, but is what happens when the majority vote for a overarching, suffocating government that wants to put cameras everywhere and spy on everyone. OK my 2 cents back to the subject.

These are the new rules, making life very difficult. Think outside the box and you may successful. But true stealth has gone. But there has never really been true stealth as such as the bank where the money is deposited can identify the seller, if needed.............

I'd have to disagree, I've been running true Amazon stealth accounts for getting on for ten years and continue to do so.

So, it is now possible to get passed all the extra ID Amz want?

(What Micky is saying is that 100% true stealth requires 100% stealth bank set-up also)

Don't try to stealth with the bank by the way...illegal - just clarifying.

I agree with rsot here. It is not needed to go stealth with a bank. I would not try that myself either.

Dave is saying he does it this way though. To each their own...

If you are running true stealth, then true stealth means stealth at the bank also.

So you have a "stealth" bank account without doing illegal stuff ?

How is this possible ? (Except you start a "Company Ltd." and open a bank account in its name .... :ranger:)
